Our Mission
The Nick Nurse Foundation is committed to improving the lives of children and young adults through music, sports, and literacy. We support programs and social justice initiatives that empower families and youth from underrepresented communities. By leveling the playing field, we hope to provide all youth with the necessary resources to become positive contributors to society.
Our Vision
The Foundation’s vision is to provide and create pillars to a strong support system, which is a critical component to a children/youth’s academic achievement. The Foundation’s series of programs will support the academic development of children and young adults through a mentorship approach. These programs intend to encourage parental involvement, while exposing students to Music, Sports and Literacy, in order to foster a love for reading to provide college readiness assistance, and scholarship awards.
